It’s Time to Return

We are 5 weeks away from leaving the USA once again and returning to Madagascar! Here are some updates and prayer requests:

  • Rebe is pregnant and, God willing, we will have another member of the McReynolds Tribe in June! We give thanks to God for this newest miracle and blessing, and we can’t wait to see our child. For those of you interested, our tiny human is the size of a large avocado right now. Please pray for Rebe and the baby: for the continued growth and development; for those long flights and car rides; for the health of baby and momma; and for our decision to have the baby in Madagascar.
  • February 17 is our departure date. We will fly to the capital, Antananarivo, and then onto Nosy Be on February 26. We need your prayers during this time of transition; for logistics, safety, rest, anxiety, protection, immigration, and mostly that we would be able to lift our eyes up to God through all of it.
  • We are looking forward to this next term… the ground has been laid to train and equip Malagasy Christians to become missionaries in their own country. We expect in the next few years to train and send out Malagasy missionaries all over the country, going into very hard-to-reach places. And we have several ministry opportunities this year and next for adventurous people from the USA and other countries to partner with Malagasy missionaries in ministry. Please let us know if you or someone you know may be interested.

We are still in need of funding for our 4×4 vehicle! Purchasing a car in Madagascar is the opposite of easy. From the endless government red tape and fees; to the low supply; to the price which can be double or triple the price of a similar car in the USA; buying a car is a stressful, time-consuming, and very expensive experience. And we see the need for a strong, 4×4 vehicle that can be used for ministry as well as our everyday needs. For these reasons, we have started a GoFundMe account to raise $10,000 to add to our personal funds to purchase a car…

We have 5 weeks left to raise the money! Please consider this request, send it to people who may be interested in helping, and pray with us for this practical need. Click here to view the project account.
