As 2018 comes to a close, we wanted to say thank you to everyone who partners with us in ministry here in Madagascar. Rebe, the kids, and I have been able to work in Africa for 13 years now, and it has been a blessing to our family. Two of our children were born in Africa, and we have witnessed God working on this continent in amazing ways. Our own understanding of God and His Kingdom has been forever altered, and strengthened by living here.
We are here by God’s grace, and through the prayer and financial support of His saints. Please consider our ministry here in Madagascar as you make your year-end giving decisions. Recently, we have lost a few financial partners, and our costs have risen, and we are seeking additional one-time and monthly financial partners. If this is something you would consider, please visit our MTW family page here (you can find the “give” link near the top).
This month we have been translating stories from The Jesus Storybook Bible, by Sally Lloyd-Jones, and reading them everyday during Advent. And Caleb Wiley and the band have been busy at the studio, recording songs old and new, including a re-release of the Sakalava version of Oh, Holy Night (Haligny Masigny). You can listen to and download the track on BandCamp here.
And we will leave you with a clip from a recent concert in Mandritsara, Madagascar. Caleb and Whitney Wiley, along with the guys in the band (Groupe Tsinfitaka), travelled to the mainland to take part in a worship music songwriting conference. They held a concert on the last day of the conference, and our guys had a chance to perform Jeso Lalagna, (a song Ladys wrote adapted from John 14):
With you, we are waiting and preparing…
