Hi Friends and Family-

It’s been snowing lately and we’ve been taking the kids out in it a lot…sore muscles…but enjoying all of the sledding, snowmen and snowball fights!  I love the kids chapped and smiling faces as they go flying down the hills…and I love experiencing all of the adults turning into kids again as they brave the hills.  We expect January in Tanzania next year will be quite a bit different…but in a good way I hope…

Classes have started back for Bryan and I and that’s excellent because Bryan will be graduating in May…for those of you who don’t know he is finishing with an MA in Religion and Culture.  Of course we are BIG TIME proud of him and excited about his accomplishment for this portion of study.  I will continue taking classes and plan to graduate in 2012.

We praise God for how he is bringing a team together to be with us in Tanzania.  Currently the team includes another family with two kids, ages 3 and 4 and they are from Uganda, along with 2 women who are committed to joining us.  Please pray that the Lord will gather another family and a couple of men to go with us.  We trust the Lord as we still have financial support needs and recruiting needs that must be met before we depart.  Our plans for arriving in Arusha, Tanzania this year for a 2 week training and then arriving at our location remain the same.  The team will then meet us there in early 2012.  We appreciate your prayers and support as we continue to remember that this is the Lord’s work and it all will come about in his time and within the realm of his plan.

Peace of Christ, rebe
